Can't delete added points / split lines in floor sub element

Please help,

I cannot manage to delete any point I add to modify the floor.  The Autodesk help simply says to select the element and hit delete or right-click and select delete; however, neither of these options work.  The only way to delete any added points is to click "reset shape", but then the every point I've added is gone and causes a huge headache by starting all over.  Has anyone else had this problem and know how to resolve it?  I've attached a picture showing the delete button greyed out.

Thanks!

P.S.- I am using Revit 2018 on Windows 10 on a Macbook Pro using Parallels.

Even if I click on the point and hit delete on the keyboard, the point is not deleted.  I'm able to move the point and change it's elevation - I just can't delete it!

See attached image.  I know I'm not able to delete the green floor boundary points, but I added the four blue points and should be able to delete those.  Thanks in advance.

I've attached my file.  Basically I'm trying to modify a floor by adding points and modifying the elevation of each point to represent the landscape.  It's basically a flat site, so not much manipulation is needed.

Select the floor you want to edit and then click "modify sub elements". Once the outline turns green, then draw a rectangular around the point you want to delete and press delete on your keyboard.

Hello,

I had a similar issue today where I have a point I couldn't delete. And I discovered the problem: one boundary edge was in two pieces instead of one. Once I made that edge into one piece, the point was gone. So for anyone in the future who finds this thread because of a similar issue: check your boundary.
