Can no longer create or assign Yes/No parameters using labeling ribbon

I am working on a furniture family in Revit Arch 2026. I created visibility instance parameters for a nested item using the properties dialog. I went to the labeling ribbon to make a reassignment but none of my parameters are listed.
In troubleshooting this, I found that Revit no longer allows me to create a yes/no parameter via this method. Data Type is greyed out with “Family Type: Furniture” listed in the box where I should be able to assign a parameter type. Obviously, I can create the assignment in the properties menu but I am perplexed as to why it is no longer available in the ribbon. Is this a bug or is it related to some new program feature?

The "Label" parameter for nested families is specifically where you assign a family type parameter and cannot be any other type of parameter (this has always been this way).

You need to assign your Yes/No parameter to the visibility parameter of the object.
