Why except RDAOU? Does not seem very nice. He is very helpful in the forums and has helped many people already.

I do not see an attachment in your post?

You should be able to do it in an elevation/section view. You only need a work plane to model it against (for example the grid lines or some exisitng reference planes)

It's a waste of time because if you would read the solutions I gave you on your other posts; you would know how to use a sweep to model In-Place elements on the elvation!! You ignored the reply there; and I am pretty sure you will ignore the reply here too!! If whatever solution I would be posting is helping someone learn something then it is OK but when it is ignored and the person doesn't learn anything; then it is a waste of both my time and his time

Anyway; I've done another screencast for you to have a look at here...hopefully this time it helps (I will attach it once it uploads to Autodesk Servers)..I hope you go back and look at your other posts and watch the screencasts there too...

  1. Use Elevation View (when you sketch the profile you want to sweep or extrude) and 3D view (helps you see model better and pick path)
  2. Before you sketch the profile, make sure to set working plane...example: click set workplane and then pick the front face of the wall. To make sure you picked the right plane, click the SHOW button to see the plane you picked in blue
  3. Sketch your profile
  4. Extrude or sweep it..
  5. Sweep has two steps (Model In-Place> select category (I use Generic Model) > Create > Sweep > 1st pick the path > finish > then edit profile > draw the profile > finish > finish again)
  6. Extrusion has one step assuming u already set working plane in the elevation view already (Model In-Place> select category (I use Generic Model) > Create > Extrusion > Draw profile > finish) once done adjust the extrusion depth
  7. Make sure to finish sketch

PS: You can also use railing panels to model the element in your image...but since you asked only about Model In-Place I only included Extrusion and Sweep method

First Demo is Sweep...Second is Extrusion (Both in one screencast)

Hi, RADOUA

First of all txs verey much,

Actually u misunderstood me. becz i learned by the help of ur last 3 poste about seep verey well use with Model- In -place.also i teach my colleges how to make this. but i thing u didn't get my question clerarlly. my doubts was how can create custom design like my attachment through Model- in place -specialittey eupiment. going this way. but u were saying reffer sweep option. i ask how can create custom design using this way (Model -in Placce-specialittey eupiment) kindly find the attachment. but, you said reffer (Model -in Placce-Generic model), so the final out put is same.My confusiion was how select work plan in (Model -in Placce-specialittey eupiment) now its clear, i can follow as per u said in this video.

Any way thanks allot
