I would like to increase the amount of RAM Revit can allocate, my system has 32 gbs and Revit always maxes out around 16, is this possible. Where would I find that setting?

This is an older thread but see message 6. to my knowledge nothing has changed to allow the user to assign memory usage.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/how-do-i-assign-more-memory-to-revit/td-p/60...

you can also give this a try....

Windows tries to use as much RAM as possible to minimize SSD use. If you modelonly requires so much,it doesn't invent new rAM use.

You could over-model and make everything more complex if you really want to use more RAM. Insert a hundred useless families. Even better if they came from manufacturer who make very family be 4MB  🙂

Revit Version: R2026.4.2
Hardware: i9 14900K, 64GB, Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada 16GB
Add-ins: ElumTools; Ripple-HVAC; ElectroBIM; Qbitec
