Can you confirm what you mean by cameras?  Do you mean 3D view indicators, that normally become visible when you right click on a view title to "Show Camera" or some camera family that is being placed on a floor?  If the latter, you note that you are working on a large project - is this workshared? Perhaps your colleagues are placing the cameras there. Ask them to stop placing them in the incorrect places.

Cameras will only ever show up A) in views in which their field of view is within the view's View Range and B) the camera's crop region is selected in the 3D created when the camera view was placed.  When B happens, the camera and its view range become temporarily visible in any view that has the camera within the range of the view.  These all go away once you de-select the camera's crop region.

Is it possible that you're seeing something else and thinking it's a camera?  A screenshot would be helpful!
