I created an X frame truss family in revit, with the intention of having it support the floor of a slightly sloped elevated bridge (4' difference over 260'). I had no issue getting it to rotate 90 deg. so it would be horizontal. Adjusting the start and end level offsets allowed me to get it to follow the slope I need, and doing so it appears both cords do move in parallel. However in plan when I make the slope, it visually skews the verticals.
I've tried adding parameters to the family to keep the vertical web members at 90 deg, but it did nothing. Does anyone have some suggestions on parameters or anything else I could do so it will look correct in plan?
Thank you!
