Callout Tag

I am trying to place a plan call out tag in my plan, where i have already drawn the detail and placed it on a sheet  and need to use the "reference other view" option, when I try to place the call out tag I get an error message. "None of the created elements are visible...etc.", however I have other call out tags in this plan that I have not used the "reference other view" option and they are visible, what am I missing/doing wrong?

They maybe outside of the Annotation Crop in the view you are placing them.  Callouts have an annotation area around the crop region. If the space between the edge of the crop region and the annotation region is too narrow, the text notes and other elements don't have enough room to show up.

Try Turning off the Crop Region and making sure Reveal Hidden elements is on to check they they are not being turned off by view Settings/Filters

Do you have any view filters that hide certain views?  Have you checked [Hide at scale coarser than] of the referenced view?

No the crop region is not the issue as i have a call out tag next to the one that i am trying to reference and that one appears.

Open the view you want to reference to and look at its properties.

Also, check the view filters and see if you have any filters that may hide views meeting certain criteria.
