I have a floor plan where the callouts are positioned differently in the child view than the parent view.
How is this possible?
When the Callout is selected, it is highlighted in both child view and parent view.
Thus, it is the same callout element.
I know it is not possible to take an existing view change it to a dependent view.
How is it possible for the child callout to be positioned differently than the parent callout?
This is only happening in this one file
Thank you

I can repeat the scenario here in 2021 & 2024 with Callouts and it appears the Callout Tag reverts to the default location on Callout placement, I can only assume the Tag elements are not hardcoded so they can be moved if necessary but again would have assumed they would automatically take the Parent view positioning by default.
The positioning of the callout info can be located anywhere you want it as it it by view and not by callout. This is so if you have multiple views that you want to show the callout it can be located in the place of best fit for that view.
It is the same graphical ability for sections. the head and tail locations can be stretched or shortened as required by view.
The only thing that stays consistent is the part of the callout that defines the crop boundary.
Essentially the box acts as a modeled element and the callout acts as a tag for the box.
