Callout tag problem: Line through detail number

How can I avoid this from happening?

The Text in centered on the Origin Ref. Plane. Move it to the side.

Only seems to fix it on one side (right or left). Would be a bummer if I need to have two different families.
Callout left & callout right to make it work. Maybe I'm missing something.

Leave it where it is and put a mask behind it

Just noticed a new problem (when placing vertically):

Make the mask smaller. Best to constrain it to the size of the text box.

Works great horisontally, but when I move the detail number to a vertical position it get's messed up, unfortunately.

did you find a way around this? I am having the same issue...

actually I think I have found why. The lead is cut to the longest dimension, and in this instance it is the horizontal.

I am wondering if it is possible to do non circular/square callout tags?
