Hi, i need to calculate how many cars i need for each apartment in a residential building, the problem is each unit is a duplex which means it has 2 areas (lower floor & upper floor).
In a schedule i prepared every thing, all i need to know now is how can i calculate the total area of each unit, then i calculate with a formula (i already prepared) how many cars need for this unit based on its total area.
For example, unit (A001) area = 290 sqm , then i need to take this result and then put it in the formula which calculates the count of cars needed, the rule is:
units from 120 - 200 sqm -----> need 2 cars
units more than 200 sqm ----> need 3 cars
therefore, A001 needs 3 cars
Revit is giving for each area 2 cars, and calculate the total cars for the unit which gives 4 cars.
Thanks in advance
