Cad Links misaligned, even though xrefs aligned

Hello everybody. I've been struggling with this issue probably since forever and I haven't been able to figure out why this is happening. The Cad Drawings are perfectly aligned, but when linked in Revit all kind of issues arise and they get misaligned. Is there something fundamental I'm missing? In this occasion, as in most, they are linked by Shared Coordinates. Thanks you in advance.

In AutoCAD what UCS settings are in play? If the UCS is not World and the Plan View orientation is not World then it will be showing you something other than what Revit "sees". When you link a DWG to Revit it uses the WCS origin and True North orientation of the file. If you have acquired coordinates from the file that doesn't change the way the file is represented in AutoCAD...if the UCS and Plan settings are using something other than World (WCS).

It is World, even if there is some other UCS I delete it and I leave only World in play. Probably the issues lies somewhere there, but I cannot figure out why and how should I solve it.

I don't know if that indicates the root of the problem but they are misrotated as well.

The misorientation was resolved by eliminating the angle to True North which mistakenly had a value. But the misalignment is still taking place

Your Xref Lighting Masterplan file and 01-ALL-ROADS_2022-04-29_MRT files have a Named UCS "DefaultLocation-Revit60". Delete those and they should all line up in Revit properly. After deleting the Named UCS in both files:

• I linked 01-ALL-ROADS_2022-04-29_MRT first and used Acquire Coordinates and it appeared in the view in the same orientation as your examples with the black background, the same way it appears in AutoCAD.
• I linked the RVTLINKS_SAS_G_LOW_CE_SCOPE-PHASE1 file using Auto - By Shared Coordinates and accepted the message, landed in the correct location.
• Last I linked the XREF LIGHTING MASTERPLAN file (same as second file) and it lands in the correct location.

The reason there is a named UCS is that when you use Acquire Coordinates on the DWG Revit saved the UCS to them. If you see a message, when you save a Revit project, asking if you want to save the changes to a DWG link choose the bottom option to ...Disable Shared Positioning...

Although I'm having a small trouble understanding what your sequence of moves exactly means, it certainly works. I hope that if I follow them from now, i'll get what I want. I deeply thank you

Make sure the DWG files don't have the Named UCS. The files you shared with me did. Link each DWG separately, don't rely on the main DWG Xrefs to show up because they are attached Xrefs. That will cause graphic control issues later if/when the DWG file is updated and you get a new copy. This means you should get the main file and all the Xrefs from your source so you can link them to Revit individually. I'm sure you'll get it sorted out.
