Varying wall height finishes from the floor?

Hi all,

Would really appreciate help on this, can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

I'm attempting to have tiles finish at a particular height in a bathroom, however, when unlocking the tile layer in the modify wall structure, its anchored to the ceiling and drags towards the floor instead of the other way around.

See attached image,

Cheers,

Looks like you unlocked the top of the layer instead of the bottom?

Thanks Simon,

Looks like i've run into a new issue. I tried modifying the wall when it isn't attached to the roof and everything works as it should (unlocked the top layer as you suggested) however, when the wall is attached to the roof I'm unable to modify the height of the unlocked finish layer?

The top offset does not support attaching it to a roof (similar for a floor that slopes in the opposite condition). The same is true if you alter use Edit Profile.

You could model the finish as a separate wall and then in an elevation or section view use Edit Profile to adjust if for the offset at the top/bottom.

You can create parts from the wall, enable parts grips and stretch the tile parts to where you want,
