Cad file linked to revit doesnt not appear

Hi Guys,

I have this weird message popping up. When I Link a cad file to my Revit.

 

" Linked file could not be located.It will be displayed as it was when this project was last saved"

 

I have attached the screenshot below.

I need your help guys on this, please.

That message appears regarding a file that has already been linked, Revit can't find it at the location it was linked from originally. Unlike AutoCAD external referencing Revit captures the data of a linked DWG and it can display that even if/when that linked file isn't found. The second sentence is telling you that, "Hey, I can't find this file anymore but I'll show you what it looked like the last time I did see it." That means you could just ignore it if the file hasn't changed since then. If it has changed then you can fix it by using Reload From in the Manage Links dialog.

Hi @SteveKStafford,

Thanks for your reply.

The Revit and CAD file very new file.

It is the first CAD file to be linked in the Revit file. So, I haven't not linked any file before in this Revit file.
