Bulk export Revit files to DWG

Hi everyone,

I’ve been searching online for a way in which I can take multiple Revit files and export these in a one-er to multiple DWG’s? I’ve looked at some of the content from AussieBIMGuru using Dynamo however this only really touches on using 1 file at a time (which if I was just doing them individually I’d end up taking best part of a day each time models were revised.) Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Actual RVT files only?
Or sheets/views only?
Or all of the above?

You'll need to purchase a 3rd party solution almost always, here is one of many https://rv-boost.com/revit-plugins/rv-batch-transmit/
Otherwise https://www.cadlinecommunity.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/201756162-Exporting-Multiple-Views-or-Sheets-in...

Autodesk App Store is always fun to explore in too

I would first setup the sheets you want to print and save the setting

Once you done that, go to the DWG export and select the sheet print setting

As for multiple Revit file to DWG, checkout plugins like diroots

Hi Pendean,

Apologies for this response being so late, much appreciated for your input. So I’m looking at outputting only the sheets/views only. I thought the 3rd party software was going to be the answer but I thought with the powers of dynamo this might have shaken up the Revit space a little! Also tried looking at PyRevit and DiRoots to see if they had anything but maybe venturing out of a single Revit file becomes a whole lot harder to work with.

On closer inspection of RV Boost website looks to be pretty much what I’m after (all be it looks like I might need some time to brush up on how to use something as in depth as that!) Thanks for your help!
