Building sections to wall sections

Need help here.  So I have a building section @ 1/4" scale.  I used detail components to dress it up.  Then I created a callout (wall section) @ 3/4" scale to put all my notes on.  When I went to my callout, all the detail components are not there.  I would think Revit is more smart than to detail something twice, so obviously I don't know what I'm doing.  So how to I get all the work I did on the building section to show up in the callout?  Thanks for any help.

Group the details in one section and copy paste align the group to the others.

Thanks.  I've not used Groups yet and had a little problem with it.  I did however just copied all items and then paste it it worked.  I would have just thought Revit would simply carry those items from the section to the callout..

When I did the Groups it wanted to copy the entire wall and when I went to paste I got all sorts of warnings.

Thanks for your help.

No you don't create group from everything, only Detail items as I did say in the other post. Then you wouldn't have any warning of duplicating model elements. To select only detail items, select everything and use Filter to keep only the details components/linework before creating a group. The benefit of using groups is you only need to edit once should you need to revise it in the future.
