Browser Organization - Remove Parameters

I don't know what to really call what I'm trying to do but here it goes:

I'm trying to organize my browser with Working / Sheet categories and View type Subcategories.

I've added the Project Parameters for the Categories and Subcategories.

As we add views to the project, we can add the Categories and Subcategories on the fly which has proven problematic.

See image.

I want to remove or rename some of these subcategories but I can't figure out how. Any clues?

Or, as a relatively newcomer to Revit, am I just shooting off in a totally wrong direction to begin with?

I thought I liked the organizational structure this would provide, but I now question the wisdom of that decision.

Well, sometimes 'talking out loud' helps...

I found if no view is assigned a certain SubCategory, then that SubCategory goes away.

So, I selected all my section views, assigned the SubCat "05_sections" to them and the SubCat "05_Sections" went away.

Yep...you've got something in the project assigned that name. Create a schedule to list all, and then correct "bad" names through the schedule.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the ability to make a schedule of this.

Thanks!
