Relatively new to revit but making good progress now.

Have no idea where to begin with this.

1st delimma would be to model or not to model.

Note the following:

  • Sill will be a typical rowlock sill
  • Sill will be proud of the wall face brick
  • Header will be arched with 3 stacked rowlocks (vs a typical soldier course).
  • Header will be recessed from face of brick

Wondering if anyone can get me heading in the right general direction with this as would relate to best practice.

Thanks Constantin! I took a look at your video. Maybe a little over my head right now but I'm willing to give it a shot. Would be a good learning experience for me for a lot of different things. Exposure if nothing else.

Wondering also if there might be a way to do this with sweeps. I know there is a way to do it with a straight header but not sure if it would be possible to do an arched sweep.

Assuming since there is a way to do a straight soldier course header that there would also be a way to do a sloped rowlock sill.

Anyway, still trying to come up with best practice for doing this in revit.
