BPAC Revit training issue

I am unable to proceed with the BPAC program, because I am apparently not allowed to run Energy Analyses through Revit. Can anyone help with this? I was told by the support email they do not help with individual issues and to post on the forums...however, this is definitely an issue on AutoDesk's side because all of my logins are active, and I am logged into A360 with a valid Revit license.

Is this for Green Building Studio?  Be sure you have signed up for it through the Education Community and not just the free trial online.

I have done that, and still gotten nothing to enable through Revit 2016. It keeps saying "no access to this service".

Hello @Anonymous

SEE LINK HERE ENERGY ANALYSIS FOR REVIT

Edited: Energy Analysis (as it seems) is not available Educational/student license by default. However, It came to my attention that students/educators may fill this request and send it to them ENERGY ANALYSIS FORM LINK 1 LINK2 and Autodesk will come back to you when issue is resolved.

Hope you find this helpful

Thank you for finding this for me. My issue is I've already tried this form. I've filled it out about 6-7 times now, and receive no confirmation email that the form was submitted, nor have I gotten any actual response from Autodesk. There is also no direct support email for BPAC issues which is strange, if they want to support the educational community.

Update

Your post got me curious and I did some checking around with our students and did some testing on Revit 2016...It turned out we had the same issue with some of the students here as well with some colleagues and the cause turned out to be Revit 2016 License not registered under our account. (I think yours might be a similar case)

  • To verify if it is the same issue; Log in to your Autodesk Account Management and check if you have Revit 2016 listed under Products

  • If it is not; then you need to Address Autodesk Education Community ON THIS LINK and ask them to check your account. This should resolve the issue and get Revit 2016 Educational license added to your Account (Their reply was prompt and they resolved our issue within hours)

  • If you had "Keep me logged in" option checked; you will need to Log out and Log back in again to your account

CHECK THIS LINK HERE - AutoDESK Forum / Installation & Licensing

It seems its an issue with Revit 2016 and Student/Educator free license...If this helps in resolving your case please do mark this reply Accept As Solution to help other students fix this issue too

It seems I have no license under my main Autodesk account, even if the Education login / program shows I have a valid license, so I have submitted that form and will await what will hopefully be an actual answer from Autodesk. Thank you so much for your time in helping me with this issue. If that final link pans out, I will mark it as the solution!

........I got the same non-answer I have kept getting from their support emails, even through the form you sent me. "Hello from Autodesk! Green Building Studio is web based service. Access to Green Building Studio is governed by Parent product. So you have to download, install and activate one of the Parent product. If GBS says your account has expired it means parent product through which you are accessing GBS is expired so please re-install and re-activate that product. For more information please refer the link below: http://studentsdownload.autodesk.com/ef/27288/cdcoll/downloads/Cloud/GBS_instructions_2014.pdf In case any problem still persists, we would recommend you to please post same question on our discussion forums. These discussion groups are monitored by Autodesk Experts and they would be able to respond with precise information. Not sure what you sent them...you just need to ask them add the Revit 2016 license to ur account! You don't need more. Take a snapshot of ur account management page where Revit is not showing and ask that they add it

I thought it was pretty clear that I needed them to check on Revit 2016 for my account subscriptions, but I will do the form again and include a picture.
