Black Crop Region line

Hello

After I create a Ceiling Legend, I drag it to the Sheet. How can I make this black crop region smaller?

Thank you

If you activate the Legend View (Double click Inside or Right Click method or Activate View in Ribbon) can you Turn On the Crop Region and edit it by dragging the boundary shape?

alternatively

  1. In the drawing area, select the crop region.
  2. Click Modify <view type> tabjay_colcombe_0-1694984721728.gif Crop paneljay_colcombe_1-1694984721728.gifjay_colcombe_2-1694984721728.png (Size Crop).

After thinking it over I’m pretty sure you are limited when editing Legend cropped regions!

The Legend Boundary automatically crops the the contents inside the View so make sure in your model there are not items which could be forcing the Legend boundary to expand to fit.  Check the Reveal Hidden Elements Tool.

In the example below the Crop Boundary was tight to the square but when i copied over the vertical line it adjusted to fit tight to the new element.

That crop boundary depend on the family reference plane and reference line. If the reference plane and line stretch beyond the family itself, it will affect the crop region of the legend.

Thank you so much for replaying.

I did not find "Double click Inside or Right Click method or Activate View in Ribbon" and crop region.

Thank you

I was replying on the fly, you use this method for Standard Views and does not apply to Legends sorry, hence my follow up.
