BIM360 Icon Resets Position in Open Dialog

I have noticed the BIM360 icon keeps resetting to the top of my open dialog, every time I start a new session of Revit, despite me constantly moving it down the order.  Looking for some assistance in confirmation of behaviour before I report it.

Hi @Anonymous

I'm waiting for feedback from the team on this one.

Did you install any recent updates? (windows/ Revit versions)

Regards,

Hi @Anonymous

Can you let us know if you are saving the changes to the places pane in file navigation?

See pic below:

I look forward to your reply update.

Hi @Viveka_CD

thanks for the response. So the reason I posted the issue was because normally if you make changes in the open dialog AND open an actual file, the changes stick. You only need to use that message you show if you make changes and then cancel the dialog. It was me making changes while opening something that it wasn't working. HOWEVER, I am on another machine now and i cant replicate the issue.
So when I am back at the office I will check the machine that gave me problems to make sure I wasn't day dreaming on the job 😉

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for responding! Smiley Happy

Can you share a screencast from the two machines?

I was touch with a product manager who said this issue was resolved and was a bug.

Please confirm the version(s) you use on different machines and if you all are on the same build and installed latest updates.

Looking forward to your reply update.

Hi @Viveka_CD

of course! the hotfix that was recently issued correct? So i checked with I.T., they haven't installed the hotfix yet (annoying) so I think that will be the problem. The machine at home I installed the hotfix, hence probably why I can't reproduce the problem. I will confirm next week, but unless I come back that was the issue.
thanks for following up.

Hi @Anonymous

I'm checking back to see if you had a chance to try the recommendations and can you confirm the versions used at home and at the office, and which hotfix you've installed?

I look forward to your reply.

Correction. This problem is not resolved. 😞

Not sure what is going on, but that pesky BIM360 icon is back at the top again (after moving it the bottom of the list)

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry to hear that the issue has resurfaced.Smiley Surprised

Can you share a screencast of the above description, and share system files for diagnosis? I can send you a private folder to test.

Does this happen for a specific machine and did you check other machines?

Did windows install any automatic updates between then and now?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
