BIM Pro Collaborate: How many models?

We have a project we would like to use BIM Pro Collaborate on to work with another consultant so we can share a central model.

https://www.autodesk.com/products/bim-collaborate/compare

The package for $945 / year claims you can cloud host central models, and have unlimited users & unlimited storage... Hearing the above I am wondering many models can you have for the $945 a year? Is it one?

You can host as many models (both workshared or not) as you want. There is no space limit. However, the the user being unlimited is misleading a little. The number of users whom you can collaborate with would be Unlimited as long as they all have a subscription (single or multi-user) AND/OR named user login.

Meaning if in your office you have 50 users and you want them all to collaborate simultaneously, 1 license will not work for you. The same apply to 3rd parties ...they either get their own licenses or you have to provide them one from your quota

Note: I am not sure if they are still selling Multi-user Subscriptions...This you would need to confirm with a reseller because Autodesk are transitioning the multi-user to something called Named User.

Gotcha, better than I originally assumed 😄 Honestly, in the past, every price I came across from AutoDesk made my heart skip a beat or two...

We have user-based subscriptions ( I assume since I have to login...)

So just to make sure I got this right, let's say our office has 3 Revit user licenses, and our consultant has 1 Revit user license, together our offices could chip in for the $945 BIM Collaborate Pro, and then the four of us could happily ever after collaborate for 1 year?

In principle yes. The collaborate Pro is a BYOS system where each bring their own licence/subscription with them...So for members to be able to collaborate they need

  1. Their own Subscription/License
  2. And an Entitlement or your invitation to use/access the Cloud services

See below links which clarifies it more clearly  Bring Your Own Subscription

Also check the following BIM Collaborate Products - FAQ  sections which explain how you menage the team members and entitlements
