BIM 360 Button from Open dialog

Hi everyone,

I'm actually testing Bim360 Team. I have an account and I can access my project from the Web portal. I also installed Autodesk Desktop Connector. I'm able to open my Revit project using browse and then navigate to the Bim 360 Team folder.

But when I click on Bim 360 button I have a message indicating I'm not allowed to access Autodesk Collaboration for Revit.

What I' doing wrong?

Regards,

André

@adcdao

BIM 360 Team is no longer available for testing or trial. Look for a trial of BIM 360 Docs, which requires Revit 2018.3 or 2019+

Hi,

I'm not on a trial I have a BIM 360 Team and Glue account. I update Revit to 2018.3 and I have the same problem. What is the difference between Bim 360 Team and Bim 360 Docs?

Thank you,

André

As I understand it's also no longer possible to enable worksharing to BIM 360 Team. This option is no longer available from Revit (grayed out).

You need to be logged on to your BIM 360 service (you say you have an account), and you need to have a Revit cloud model in your project  in BIM 360.  Are you sure you have these 2 things and that you are logged on? Also, that your account is in good standing?

Yes I'm logged in from everywhere. From Revit and from Autodesk Desktop Connector with the same account. From the Web application I created a new project and load an existing Revit project file from my desktop. I can see my model directly from the web app. I'm also the administrator of that project. I can load it from BIM 360 (Preview) folder but the BIM 360 button from the open dialog show me 2 choices «Bim 360 Team» and «Outils de gestion des documents BIM 360» (I have a French software). But I don't have access to neither contents. If I load my project file and try to enable worksharing, the BIM 360 Team radio button is grayed out. I have only the choice to share on LAN.

I found there's an another product «BIM 360 Design». Is this product required? Is it replacing Team? I place a request to get an account for that product.

Thank you,

André

Are you sure you have a Revit cloud model in your project  in BIM 360?

By reading your reply, it seems to me that the answer is no; it seems that you uploaded a Revit model, but you have not created a cloud model yet.
