Hello All,
We have a few cubicle families in our projects and the interior design team wants to have these basic dimension text boxes that show the size of the cabinets and the sizes of the desks and furniture. They have added generic annotations for this and it worked great for them but it absolutely wreaked havoc on all other floor plans because they now show furniture dimensions. I have been trying to get these labels on to their own category so they can be turned off in all views except the furniture plan but I can't seem to make that work.
So what is the right way to go about this? Are embedded generic annotations just the wrong way to go? Is a nested family the wrong way to go about doing these cubicles because they cant be tagged individually? Do these cubicles need to be groups? Assemblies? Open to your ideas on best practices. Thank you.
