I have to copy paste a detail item into many location, but if i copy paste it looses its overridden graphic feature , is there a way to retain it or like create a block, grouping aint working on that. (This detail item changes in black when pasted)

This tool has not been updated to work with Revit 2025.

The add-in ‘PyRevit’ has a 'Match Overridden Properties Copy/Paste' feature (huge time saver!)  You simply pick the source object that has the element graphic overrides you want to copy, then pick destination objects that you would like to apply these graphic overides to.

Autodesk needs to add this high time-saving feature to Revit as a standard menu item.

While I wait, has anyone created a successful macro to do the same ‘Match Overridden Properties Copy/Paste’ function?
