Beautifying renders

Hey everyone.
I want to make some beautiful renders using Lumion. So far I loaded in the surrounding buildings and a lot of roads with Infraworks. The neighbouring buildings I loaded in through Revit's collada and of course our own highly detailed model.
As you can see from the added pictures, they are rendered pretty well for lower LOD. However the environment just doesn't fit well and if you pay close attention most corners do not attach well or are super hard edges. That or the water isn't well defined.
Now my question is, how can I easily draw up a map to expand on my neighbouring buildings model so all these nearby areas are aligned properly and so I can go very high detail (we're talking street lights and possibly curtains and furniture inside the apartments etc). This is so I can place those pictures in magazine like quality.
What I've tried so far is to load in an AutoCAD Geolocation into Revit but that hasn't worked very well yet. Even if it were to work, I would have to redraw everything manually.
So far further work in Infraworks only yields very low quality textures, which is fine for most of the city, but not for the streetcorner I want to draw. So maybe this isn't a revit specific question, but how would you combine high quality renders of the environment with your Revit model?
