Beam system behavior using trusses

my structural engineer has specified floor trusses and i am wondering if there is a way to use trusses in a beam system? or, create a truss system?

Use a Beam System with whatever Beam Type is specified.  

...Structural Framing component. Not Structural Truss component.

Either use a truss and array, or use a beam system.

Doesn't work. Does not recognize the trusses as being there even after I have copied them into the structural framing.

Drop down won't show them as being there.

Hard to understand what you are describing, but Beam Systems and Trusses are two different things that can use Structural Framing Components
