Autojoin & Lock feature at concave corner

The new autojoin & lock feature is great everywhere except for concave corners? Anyone have any tricks to have the walls not join awkwardly or snap to the wall centerline when an adjacent wall meets a perpendicular wall? Even disallowing join still has the wall join strangely, and its not ideal to have to disallow join to place walls properly, then go back and join them manually, then some don't join in the expected manner anyways, then you have to cycle through join options... whine whine whine... Just looking to have someone show me I'm doing something wrong, because it cant be this dysfunctional.

The Auto Join/Auto Join & Lock applys "Join Geometry" automatically. It is useful typically when you are adding a cover to a wall which already has inserts (elsewhere you do not really need it). On the other hand, the Allow/Disallow join applies to the clean jois at wall ends.

When either Auto Join or Auto Join and Lock is in effect, the Function and Priority (V2026) of the wall layers come into play. In order for what you are dowing to work much easier and more as you expect, you need to

1. set up the wall layers and their functions to prevent such layers from joining. Example: in the cover set the layers to finish and lower priority to those in the main wall
2. if using 2026 move layers of cover wall to outside the core while keep those of the main wall inside the core.
3. While in 2025.4 you may not be able to move layers outside the core, using Mitter Joins on the interior wall helps

Placing the wall segment in the recess first makes the process also easier

• (Disallow Clean Join)
• (Auto Join & Lock is optional)

While above might make the process easier, you would still be required to edit some joins manually See GIF Below

Thanks, I think I got it now, its a little funky still, but I think 2026 will resolve the issues with the removal of core boundaries.
