I'm trying to upload a revit file to Autodesk viewer that has some decals used for signage.
None of these show up, the area is just shown as a green rectangle with a cross.
After some searching I found the below threads and now understand this is not possible but custom materials do work.

I have managed to setup a custom material using the signs/artwork and have a couple of issues.
I can set the image to match the size of the split face boundary but then it is off centre, if I don't have it set to tile nothing shows. So I leave it on tile and keep changing the offset until it looks right. I then upload it to Autodesk viewer and it is in a completely different position.
I have tried resizing the image to match the size using gimp and have tried having it smaller and scaling it in Revit. Neither seem to look right.
Is there something I am missing or is this some sort of bug?
screenshot1 is in Revit and screenshot2 is Autodesk Viewer.
Decals are only for realistic or Revit Render mode only.
For texture use, try to create another png file bigger than the logo you want to show. Eg. a bit 800x800 square with a centered logo with 100x50 and use it as tile with no offset on Revit.
I'm not sure I follow.
In your example what size would you have the split face, the actual image size and size of the part of the image you would want to show?
The size of the image (split face area) in my example is 3260 x 2173.
