Can you assign a shortcut to the "Switch window" button?

Hi,

That is not possible, but you can use CTRL + TAB button to switch quickly.
(CTRL + SHIFT + TAB = reverse)

Thanks, no, this isn't helpful at all.

I will try to script something myself in C# to switch windows in a custom dialog. I assume that you know that this is a common feature in IDEs these days, so it shouldn't be hard (once I dig through all the boilerplate).

Switch Windows is ribbon custom drop down list box so what is supposed to happen with a keyboard shortcut? It doesn't have a separate dialog to open unless there are more views than the drop down will display. There is no shortcut for that Select View dialog either.

Personally I put the QAT under the ribbon and use Switch Windows from there so I never have to activate the View Ribbon tab to use it all.

1. press shortcut

2. window pops up

3. navigate with arrow keys to your chosen window

4. bonus point if you can fuzzy search
