Why, in their infinite wisdom, did Autodesk decide not to allow drag-select elements to be added to an assembly???
I have to place multiple views of over 40 assemblies onto sheets, yet I need to manually click dozens of separate elements from each assembly to be added to that assembly otherwise they don't show up on sheet...
Can't I make those shared families visible on the sheets without needing to add them all 1 at a time? Why are shared components not automatically added like non-shared ones?
Is there a workaround, add-in or Dynamo script for this? Shared families have to remain shared though.
