Does not work, send in a report to Autodesk. Alternative is to draw a detail line on your runs and add an arrow to the end.

Is this still not resolved?  I am fairly new to revit and have a series of ramps which I would really like to annote without having to draw 2D lines.

Thanks.

Use the spot slope annotation tool on a floor, then move it to the ramp.

Don't ask why. 🙂

Thanks so much for the reply.  I had actually seen this 'solution' on a revit blog site, but sadly it is not working for me (Revit 13 on Windows 7).  I have simply made an arrow group and added it manually in 2d - not ideal I know, but when you need to issue drawings to a deadline...

Just come across this issue... Is this solution still the best on offer?

Yes, unfortunately, this is still the best solution, for the last decade plus.

Hello,  Although this post is old, I wanted to share information for those who may not already be aware.

Spot Slopes were implemented for Ramps in Revit 2022.

I wonder how long it actually took to make this correction. Was it worthy to cause this annoyance to customers for more than a decade or two for something that could be fixed if the task were put on the to-do list?

Several years ago, I visited a very important architectural firm in Miami as a consultant. One of the questions I received, with anger, from the clients, was this, "how come we can't even put a spot slope on a ramp"?

Well, now I won't have to face the same question again.

Thank you very much.

I have similar sentiments about this - why did it take so long?  That said though I think there has been a real shift in Revit dev over the last 12-18 months with much more emphasis on dealing with these little niggles and I for one am very glad to see it.  Please keep this going team!

Hola, Maribel! Pero ya no se necesita ningún truco. Ya funciona, desde versión 2022.
