Areabook room not enclosed

Hi,

I hae a project with rooms and areas that are correctly shown.

After I calculate the AreaBook, the tag doesn't report any area and in the AreaBook properties showing that the room is non enclosed, the dimension properties are properly reporting the areas thought, as seen on the screenshots.

Any idea would help.

Hi François,

These are not the same rooms.

You will see that the first one number's is 388 and the on screen one is 389...

I think you hav two overlaping rooms and the tag annotates the superfluous one...

To clear the superfluous one, go to a Room Schedule. It will tell you which one to delete.

Thank you for your answer.  Sadly it's not that.  I have deleted the rooms as suggested but to no avail.  Any other idea ?  I have attached new screenshots.

On the screenshot with the properties I have highlighted the area in dimensions (which gives 76m²) and the area from Areabook which shows 0.

Any other idea ?

Roombook doesn't exist yet for Revit 2017, are you running it with Revit 2016?

Have you updated your software?

If so, 

Try removing the plugin, then check for software update, re-download the pugin anbd re-install!

I'm running 2017 and Quantification was installed automatically.  I have tried re-installing it as well.  I have also tried on a new project with 2 rooms and in that ocnfiguration it is working but still not on my original project.

Below are my settings.  The screenshot you are showing seems to be for RoomBook, I am working with AreaBook.  Should I run RoomBook first ?

Yes I think so, but it should be installed with the same package, shouldn't it?

It was indeed installed at the same time.  I have tried running it, still no success...

There must be something with the file as it is working if I create a new project.  This is all very annoying !

Does it happen to every room? If not, just delete the room and recreate a new one.

It's on all the rooms, I have about 20 flats in the buildings and all the rooms are affected on nevery floor.

I had created some project parameters that I have deleted, still not working.

I have tried erasing the rooms and re-creating them, still not working.

Thank you everyone for your help.  It looks like their is a glitch in AreaBook somewhere.  Autodesk is combining a patch that will be available soon.  I will set this topic to resolve after reception of the patch.
