AREA SCHEDULES & 2 DIFFERENT UNITS OF MEASURE

Hi There,

I am wondering if there is a solution to my problem. I need to display a table on my plans that summarizes the total m² of each section (this is the easy part). Then at the end of the table I want to display another row with a formula based on the grand total of all of the m² sections. This is so that I can show the total in "squares" aswell

Currently all I can work out is how to add the formula as a column with the subtotal at the bottom. I then use a text box to write the total squares under my grand total m² section.  This is annoying because if rooms change size then it doesn't automatically update *sigh* . Any help would be appreciated.

  1. Duplicate the schedule
  2. Create a calculated value parameter to convert from m2 to squares, format it to calculate totals
  3. Format and group the schedule to a single row showing the total value. Remove border and lines.
  4. Add a text calculated parameter and enter "Squares"
  5. Now the schedule shows the total value + Squares
  6. Place it below the main schedule on sheet
