Area Schedule Parameters

I am trying to use a parameter in an AREA schedule that already exists in a ROOM schedule. The existing Room parameter is not listed in the Area schedule, and since it exists in the Room schedule, I can't create it again in the Area schedule. Do I need to delete them and somehow make them Shared parameters, or is there any easier way please?

You can add a Shared Parameter as a Project Parameter to both "Areas" and "Rooms" Category.

Go to: Manage > Project Parameters > Find the parameter in question, Modify and tick Areas box.
