Area Boundary problems

Hello,

I am having problems with the area boundary.

I create a GIA plan and I draw the boundary line (Area boundary.jpg attached). However, revit is not recognise as 1 area only... It is dividing in 2 areas (Area Boundary problem.jpg attached).

Any thoughts on that?

Best,

Larissa

there is something that is making revit think they are two separate areas.  look at the wall between the spaces...perhaps "uncheck room bounding" will fix it.

I tried making a basic model and getting the area command to do what you are saying and it defaults to making 1 area object for both spaces...

Hi Dzanta,

I just find out some boundary lines were drawn in a closed workset.... So Revit was recognizing this line (wich I draw first) rather than the line that was showing...

Tks for your help!

I had the same issue, and looking through the worksets also worked for me. The line that was splitting the room was in a closed workset.
