Hai all,

when I export Arch D size sheet from Revit to Autocad drawing, the exported CAD drawing page layout is not coming properly, here I am attaching image for reference, can anyone please help me. In this I used Revit 2018.3 to export to CAD.

Thankyou.

It exports the dimensions which are given/set in the title block. THe export should not shrink or deform the title block or deform it.

  • Open the title block family and check if the given dimensions (Width and Height) conform to Arch D size
  • Do the same in acad

It is perfectly fine in Revit...As mentioned in previous reply you should also address the paper size in Autocad. The paper size of the layout view is not an Arch D..

  1. Open the Cad
  2. right click the Layout tab
  3. Open Page Setup Manager
  4. Modify the relevant Layout
  5. Set the right plotter and right paper size

Thankyou, but I know that one, we shouldn't work again in Autocad, there are so many sheets in the project, i have to do it to every sheet, as the other sheet sizes like A0, A1 etc., are coming perfectly when exporting from Revit to dwg.

Maestro...it is not a Revit issue...the export is fine. Your issue is in Autocad.

A0, A1, A2, A3...etc all these match because they have the same proportions Arch D has different Height to Width ratio. Hence when using last successful plot setting and the last was an A0 or A2 then the Layout view for an Arch D will have that top margin

Check the GIF below...this is your title block Arch D >> Exported from Revit >> and opened in CAD/Viewer. Watch closely, I did not change any settings... it fits as is
