Applying a material to a site family

Hi,

@vdeveau  and I don't seem to be able to associate a material to this attached fence family, which appear to be a site type family.

I'm trying to get this fence to appear as a white fence in my rendering and instead it is beige.

Can someone please show me how to apply a material to this family?

Thanks,

Derek

If you want it to be parametric then you better off find another family or create a new one.  And this kind of fence can be done fairly easily using Railing or Curtain Wall with custom panel.

If you don't need to be parametric, export a fence module to DWG and import it in a Site family, then you can assign a material to the layers under Imported category > Import in families.

I'd wouldn't use this family personally, but if all you're asking is how to change the color, then change the "Timber" Material Color.
