Anotation problem in family

Hello,

I am attempting to create an electrical plan, representing various Revit families. My issue arises with families positioned beyond the view range. For instance, I placed a speaker on the wall near the ceiling, and when the height exceeds the view range, its symbol disappears (as evident in the images below).

Is there a way to consistently display the family symbol in the floor plan, regardless of the family's height?

Thank you.

Use the ol' invisible model line trick.

Revit OpEd: "Aaaah,The old invisible line trick, eh "99"?"

...is the symbol's Draw in Foregound check or unchecked?  Details are displayed at Detail Plane (e.g. plane closest to you in View) if checked.  If unchecked, Details are hosted to Workplane. If that Workplane is a Named Ref. Plane, then you can adjust the Symbol's Height parametrically.
