Anootations and Tags Copy to another .rvt file

Hi,

Is there a way to copy the annotations along with the object from one file to another? I found a way to copy the geometry but when I paste the annotations they are not rotated the right way and some go missing.

The reason being is that I have the same geometry in multiple places across couple of different files and the geometry is slightly rotated in each file so when it's pasted everything needs to rotate a bit but on the issue sheet it doesn't work.

if you have all 3 models open at the same time try to transfer project settings from 1 to the others (select only the ones you want to transfer)

try creating a group of what you want to copy, copy the group to clipboard.

Model 1 (source file) copy to clipboard the contents and annotative tags from the view.

Model 2 paste align to a similar view

Model 3 paste align to a similar view

as long as all 3 models are using the same units
