I deeply appreciate you to post the update announcement on this page.

Because I often failed to updating via Autodesk Desktop app as well as I tend forget the place where I can download installer from.

Thank you!

By the way, I just want to ask the translater to modify annoucement in Japanese.

2017-12-15_155727.png

This misleads us to update precivious version, like service pack, update2.2 first,  like it used to for Revit2016.

In English, it says Revit2017 "or" so I don't have to worry someone to update straightaway Revit 2017 to 2017.2.3 but

in Japanese it is vague.....

I work for Japanese so I check Revit in both Japanese version and English version.

When I struggle to find solutions for some problems, there are misleading translations like this.

And actually that is not only once in a while.

I know my English is not also perfect but I hope you see my struggle....

I also wonder if I should post this kind of requests in English site or Japanese site.

Anyway, this post will help Autodesk to be aware of difficuties for international users.

Thanks,

Yuki

Hi @Kiyomi.M

Can you please help out with modifying the Japanese announcement as mentioned by @ysautodesklover in the previous post?

Or else, can you direct me to someone in the Autodesk community who can take care of this issue?

Thank you,

Thank you, this update is apparently no longer available with neither the Autodesk Desktop App nor Subscription Account Portal.  Luckily, the link you posted above provided access.

Hi @SCOTTGRUHN

Can you try installing the latest Autodesk Desktop App from www.autodesk.com/ada-supportinstall and see if it is listed?

I have uninstalled Autodesk Desktop App.

Downloaded and installed the latest version via your link - still no updates just "your avaible updates are installed".

Is there a solution for this or do we have to rely on your posts?

Thanks

Jorgensen

Hi @brj

Thanks for installing the latest version. I'm sorry to hear that the updates don't show up.

Let me see if I can find out more information on why this occurs.

Meanwhile, please try posting to the Autodesk Desktop App Forum for further feedback.

Hi @brj

Please try the following for me and let me know if this helps resolve your issue:

Sign into your desktop app and click on your user ID (top right corner), click on account details.

Go to my products and click on my access my complete list of products.

This takes you to manage.autodesk.com, where you can see all your installed products and services, then navigate to your product updates - you should be able to see all your updates.

Or you can click on Revit, scroll down and see updates and add-ons like the image below:

Hi Viveka

I had a talk with support.

It seems that we have changed our subscription so that is the fault. With the next update it should be ok again.

Thanks for your support.

Is this version capable with BIM 360? Based on the forum below, Revit 2018.2.3 installation is required for the next generation of  C4R. Does this new C4R also work with Revit 2017.2.3?

Thank you for having this patch linked.   I have update my machine to

17.0.1150.0
20171027_0315(x64)
2017.2.3

after which my a360 is no longer available.  I am going to use this patch to try and reinsert A360 capability to my revit 2017.

thank you again for providing a possible solution instead of telling me what my revit is supposed to do.

10 mins later--

Applied patch --  uninstalled dynamo -- closed patch dialog --  restarted patch -- installed 2.3 patch - A360 is now available in REVIT 2017.

version in "about" is as follows.

17.0.1150.0
20171027_0315(x64)
2017.2.3

Patch that raised verison to 17.0.1150.0 confused "Dynamo" which after 2.3 patch uninstalled and reinstalled fixed my A360 problem.  Now this was a simple fix.  thanks again.
