Annotation leader gap

Hello.
I've been using Revit annotations without any problems before.
Suddenly, the leader doesn't quite connect to the element anymore. There is an unwanted gap.
I want the leader line to connect to the actual element without any gaps.

What can I do to have the leader line actually connect to the element?
Leader Type is set to Attached End. I can't figure out what's happening here.
Any ideas?

The placement of the leader end is determined by the family. You might be able to edit the family to get what you want or you can set the leader to free end and adjust.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand, that it snaps to family elements. But what exactly does it snap to in the family? Is it some invisible border?
I tried editing the family. I don't see anything there, that the leader is snapping to.

Same case is true for other elements, even ones that I've made myself - so I know for sure - there is nothing there - not even an annotation symbol.
Setting the leader to free-end and adjusting manually would mean, that I would have to do this for 900+ elements - so.. I'd like to avoid that.

PS.
Tried using the same families in a new project file. Everything works as expected and leader snaps exactly to the family elements without any gaps.
So there seems to be some setting in the current project that is causing this. I need help figuring out what it is.

So after some more tinkering I found the cause but no solution yet.
My plan view is rotated by some angle (it's necessary in order to have the building be straight). Leaders behave like this (attach with a weird gap) only in cases where the plan view is rotated.
Is there a way to have leaders behave normally even in rotated views?

I've always considered adjusting leaders to be a necessary evil part of annotating. In my world, even when default placement is predictable, there's always adjusting. Moving the arrowhead is just a minor nuisance for me.

you can edit the tag and edit its leader
or maybe the green shape has a problem edit and check it

Yes, adjusting annotation label/tag locations is inevitable.
And there are some neat add-ins to help with that.

But I really don't want to adjust the other end of the leader as well. That should be attached to the element without gaps. Or at least the gap should be controllable.

But, like I said, this only seems to be the case if the view itself is rotated. I wonder if anyone has found a workaround/fix other than manually adjusting each end for each leader.

I'm guessing that the leader is using the extents of the family in a way that yields undesirable results. Not sure how that could be addressed.
