alter extruded worktop

can someone help, ive attached model, im trying to alter an extruded worktop so it now extends to leave a 900mm gap from the right hand wall

and then extends all the way to the bottom wall

thats correct but how do i get rid of the joint in the middle of the worktops

Is it some else model? You didn't build it did you? Edit in place the countertop and learn how to modify the extrusion boundary.

Actually, if this is what you're talking about; putting "legs" on the ends of the countertop, like @MostafaElashmawy showed in screencast; may I suggest modeling it the way it will probably be constructed. That is: the countertop will likely rest on top of a pony walls -- not have built-in "legs".  

 

 

...Sorry, @ToanDN: I see you actually caught on before the rest of us did. I didn't notice your "leg" addition.
