Allplan to Revit

Dear All,

The structure department decided they are going to use Allplan for their structure models, while architectural department uses Revit.

I know a basic coordination procedure, I should export IFC from Allplan, and then link IFC to Revit. There are two problems:

1. When linking IFC, I'm loosing parametric information such as concrete thickness etc... ,and

2. Architectural model cannot display fill patterns of concrete elements that are linked.

Any ideas how to solve this?

You'll have to start by reviewing the Allplan literature/help sources for how to handle IFC mapping of attributes (thinks like the concrete thickness). Revit only receives the IFC, it cannot correct mapping issues (or general lack of mapping). 

Also make sure you have the same IFC version selected for export/import (2x3, 4, etc.)
