Align a floor or slab to material/structure line inside the wall?

Hello! 🙂

I want to ask an aligning problem:

Sometimes a floor or a slab must be continued into a wall. For exmple to reach the core or pass the finish material.

So it would help placement if align command would be effective to material/structural lines.

What I mean is, where wall material changes inside the wall, there is always a thin line. And I would want to align a floors boundary to it (them).

Is that anyhow possible?

When you're creating the floor, make sure you're using the Pick Wall tool, and that the box next to Extend to Core is checked in the Options Bar (will only show up once you've started the floor tool).  The sketch line border of the floor will be placed at the face of the core (which is determined by the Structure of your wall).  If the sketch line happens to pick the wrong face of the core by default, just select the line, then click on the flip grips and it will switch to the other side of the core.
