Advise need - Block wall connection

Hi Masters,

 

I need to create block wall as shown in image 1.

But my Revit model is looks like image 2.

Is there any way to get my model like in the image 1.  Please let my know, if more details required. Thanks in advance.

Prathap,

 

Have you created this with two different wall types? When conventional walls get too close to each other, Revit doesn't really like it, so it refuses to join them and clean them up. 

 

Have you tried to model this part as a model-in-place component in the Walls category? That may solve your problem.

I can't tell what is going on in your pictures. Is that whole thing a single family placed into a wall? Window family? Door family? Have you look at the family in the Family Editing environment? What's going on with it?

 

When you said you want block wall as in the first picture, are you talking about the blue boxes you drew? Which bit is supposed to be block? What are the blue boxes? What is the bit with the hatch pattern?

How are the Cut Line Styles defined in the VG Overrides window?

What are the functions of the wall layers? Materials?
