Hi All,
I've come across an issue in which I have an internal wall insulation at 50mm thickness. However, when it meets a window/door ope it wraps and reduces to 25mm. See a screenshot attached below. Is there a way of adjusting this without having to cut profile for each ope? (there are nearly 200 apartments and I really dont want to do that for each ope in this project).
Kind Regards
John

Hard to troubleshoot based on that one screenshot. A wild guess would be to disallow auto-join and manually join after aligning edges.
Posting the file would be your best bet though. .
Hi @barthbradley,
Any research I've done indicates that you cant adjust the thickness of the wall structure once it wraps at wall opes. I have manually done this by unticking the "wraps" option in the wall construction and then created a group with the desired build-up that we can place at the wall opes. Once I have completed that for one floor I can copy and assign to the other relevant views. It was the only way I could see getting around the issue.
Thank you for your input non-the-less.
You are right...the thickness of the wrap cannot be modified. it is constant and follows that of the original layer but you can do that detail using several workarounds. What you did (as described in your last post) is 1 way, but thats too much work and too many groups which personally I try to avoid when not really necessary.
Instead I would use one of the following

Only for the insulation layer no it is not possible. maybe with LW but that's a tedious task to do
