Adjusting views/details after project move?

Hello - 

We are in design development for a single family home and the landscape architect now needs to raise the project elevation by 6". It's easy enough to do in the model, but we already have a bunch of interior elevations, sections, details, etc. set up on sheets. 

Is there any alternative to going through each interior elevation and moving the crop region up by 6"?

Dynamo could be used to do this. I'm not proficient in script writing whatsoever, but we utilize Orkestra in our office to automate these sorts of tasks. We don't specifically have a script to do this, but I'm adding it to the development list - just in case! Likely not helpful in the moment to you, but if anyone in your office knows Dynamo or you utilize Orkestra, a script could be written to automate this. The trade off is the time spent developing the script... In this case, likely not as valuable for a one-off instance.

Blame?  Who did?

I asked what the steps you did in Revit to move your building 6" up are.

Ohhh, I get it 🙂

I selected all the levels and reference planes and moved them up 6", then I adjusted the elevation of the project basepoint. 

I've tried to use the "relocate project" tool before in the past but I can never get it to reconcile with linked topo surfaces so I've just gone with this method in the past.

That is absolutely NOT how you should do it.  Keep everything in your model as is and move the landscape link 6" down.  Then publish coordinates to the Landscape link to record the location change (or reconcile if you already published the shared coordinates prior to this change).  It should be a 5 minute task.

Are you on BIM 360?

I'm on the Autodesk Construction Cloud, which I believe is slightly
different. I use autodesk docs to link the topo surface.

The no publishing coordinates limitation is likely the same between BIM 360 and ACC.  Do this instead:

- Select the landscape link and set it to [Do not share site...]

- Move it down 6"

- Acquire coordinates again
