Adjusting elevation of level head without affecting other levels

Hello,

I need to adjust the elevation of a level head without moving any other levels.  Each time I attempt to change the elevation, this also adjusts other level elevations.  They appear to be linked.  Is there any way to only adjust one level elevation without affecting others?  Thanks!

You should be able to do that without affecting other levels. Maybe they are constrained with locked dimensions?

No dimensions on them.  Not all levels are affected either, some stay in place, so they are setup differently somehow...

They could be there and not be visible as they are view dependent.

Could be that only certain levels have constraints applied but you will need to determine those differences or have someone look at the model.

It's been years since I last had to move a level. Maybe someone else that does this regularly will come along with some ideas.

Have you checked with Reveal constraints?

Levels can be locked to eachother with a dimension that's locked. when deleting this dimension you have the option to keep the elements constrained but the constraint will not be visible. With the Reveal Constraint viewmode (icons at bottom of view) the constraints will be made visible.

Found it!  It was constraints, but I tripped onto it when looking for hidden dimensions.  Unconstrained and the level moves freely!  Thanks for the help and comments.

Hi how did you find that rightmost lock icon? It doesnt appear to me despite having turned on the "Reveal Constraints" function

That would indicate that there isn't a constraint to be revealed.

What's the problem, same as OP? that levels move (in height elevation) when moving a level(s)?
