Adding Floor Plans

I have watched several videos that show how to add floor plans into Revit. However, when I go into Elevation view and add Levels the levels do not just add to my "Floor Plans" view. Is there a setting I need to adjust or another way to add levels?

** I currently have 4 levels in "Elevations" view, but only 2 in "Floor Plans"

In your case of Level without View the Head of Level is black not blue ( that shows there is no view attached to Level). In order to appear on View:

from View > Plan Views > Floor Plan > New Floor Plan - select one or more Levels for which you want to create new Views....

when you use Copy for Level in an Elevation View - the new level has a black head - and no attached plan view....use instead the Level comand...

I am new to Revit and as well have a project where the elevation view has all blue elevation heads but only 2 of the 11 floors will populate.  Any thoughts how to get the remainder floors and ceiling plans to populate?
