Adaptive generic model, can't create volume

Hello everyone,

I try today to create a complex voulme with 2 nested family but I can't create the volume and I don't know why.

Theses are the steps I dis :

- I create a central path with points

- I copy to 1000m on Z axis the path

- I create 2 random paths edges

- I divide the paths with the same number

- I create another adaptive generetic family with 4 adaptive points to select the central path, then the central path +1000mm in Z axis, edge one and edge two

- I place the component created and repeat it alongs the paths

- I try to create a volume and error

Can someone ever had this issue ?

What do you mean by "Volume"?  Do you mean to say that you can't create a "Form"? I examined your file and  I can't figure out what you are doing - or trying to do.  Do you have a picture showing what the finished product is supposed to look it?
